Welcome to Cistech Solutions
Since the companys inception in 2003, CISTECH Solutions has become one of Australias specialist RoIP (radio over IP) integrators working in environments diverse as defence, mining, power and emergency services.

We specialise in the integration and development of radio, telephony and IT networks enabling customers to efficiently use and distribute their voice communication requirements across large geographical areas.

What are the benefits of VoIP (Voice Over IP) radio consoles?

Single Managed Network
VoIP radio systems allow for a single network infrastructure to carry data, radio and telephony.   It removes the need to have separate dedicated links by using QoS (Quality of Service) to provide higher traffic priority to voice communication.

Growing the Operator Network
As VoIP consoles run on x86 Windows and Linux based platforms, the number of operator positions is easily increased by the simple addition of more workstation to the network.

Reduction of Equipment on Console Desk
Many console positions have a PC for data network applications in addition to their dedicated radio/telephony consoles.  To minimise desk clutter, VoIP systems enable an operator's user interface for data, voice and radio, in certain circumstances, to be reduced to a single PC.

Geographical Areas
VoIP systems can use the internal data network, or the internet backbone to connect operators to radio assets over vast distances.  This provides exceptional flexibility during periods of both high and low activity.  For example, they provide an avenue for remote operators to assist under heavy periods and enabling a night bell type facility for overnight management or during low activity periods.

Better use of Radio Assets
VoIP enabling your radio network removes the need for a radio base station to be situated at each control site.  In a VoIP system, base stations are only required to provide terrestrial coverage to field users, whilst operators can access their radio channel from anywhere on the IP network.

Interoperabilty
VoIP systems provide the ability to use mobile phones, IP phones and normal telephones to gain access to radio assets when required.  Additionally, a radio channel can be monitored via a user's desktop IP phone if required.
