About This Policy

CISTECH Solutions Pty Ltd (‘CISTECH’, “we”, “us” or “our”) have developed this Privacy Policy because we are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices for Oi Contact provided by CISTECH. This Privacy Policy relates to the information collection and use practices of Oi Contact. By using this Application, you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the accompanying Terms of Use. This Privacy Policy is a supplement to the CISTECH Privacy Statement which covers additional privacy practices.  In the event of a conflict between this Privacy Policy and the applicable contract entered into by your organization for the provision of Oi Contact (the “Contract”), the conflicting terms shall be resolved by giving precedence in the following order:  a) the Contract; and b) this Privacy Policy. Any questions regarding the Contract should be directed to your organization.

Information We Collect

Oi Contact may collect basic usage information (e.g. session information, device type, device OS, country location, language and diagnostics) to help provide better service and improve our product. This information is obtained anonymously and is not associated with any specific user information (for example, username or organization).

How We Collect Information

We collect information directly from your mobile device.

How We Use/Store Information

Oi Contact does not retain any audio data locally on your device. Any audio data recording is only temporarily cached in the application’s memory during the active session. None of this information persists across an intentional sign out/sign in.

Your Callsign is displayed to other members currently online who share your Talk Groups.

Oi Contact will retain various user preferences across sessions on the one device that Oi Contact is installed on.

Information Sharing

Any audio data disclosed in transmissions can be collected and used by other members on your system with whom you are communicating. Oi Contact cannot prevent the use of any other applications on a device which might include audio and screen recording applications. Users should follow their organization’s information security and privacy protection policies while using Oi Contact.

CISTECH may share your information if required to do so by law, court order, subpoena or other legal process; as requested by a governmental or law enforcement authority; or to enforce applicable Terms of Use.  We may also disclose information about you if we determine that for purposes of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure is necessary or advisable.

Technologies We Use

We will retain your choices under your App Settings such as log in information, region and role selection, and activated/deactivated Talk Groups.

Data Transfer

As a global company, CISTECH has international sites and users all over the world. Unless restricted by the Contract for Oi Contact or applicable law and regulation, the personal information you provide may be collected, transmitted, used, stored and otherwise processed outside of the country where you submitted that information, including jurisdictions that may not have data privacy laws that provide equivalent protection to such laws in your home country. Whenever CISTECH handles personal information, regardless of where this occurs, we take appropriate steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with the relevant Terms of Use, this Privacy Policy and all applicable laws and regulations.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 through this Application.  Applications developed by or on behalf of CISTECH are intended for use by persons age 13 and over or as required by local law. CISTECH does not seek to collect information about children under the age of 13. No information should be submitted using Oi Contact by users under 13 years of age. CISTECH encourages parents to take an active role in their children's use of the Internet and download of applications, and ensure their personal information is not submitted for account registration for this Application.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may add to or upgrade Oi Contact to provide you with new or enhanced features. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect any changes in our collection or use practices. Therefore, please refer back to this Privacy Policy on a regular basis. Please be aware that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, our use of the Information is governed by the Privacy Policy in effect at the time we collect the Information.
